Public BBQ

This park located on the banks of the Hunter river is an ideal location for a family picnic or a quick rest stop when travelling the Pacific Highway. With electric BBQs, a clean amenities block, and a great play area for children, the park is perfect for relaxation. However, it is important to note that it can be quite noisy due to the number of cockatoos in the area, and it may be advisable to bring insect repellent to ward off mosquitoes.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
